Cross-Body Shoulder Stretch

Description:

The cross-body shoulder stretch draws one arm across the chest to stretch the rear of the shoulder.

Muscles Stretched:

  • Posterior Deltoid
  • Rotator Cuff

How To Perform:

  1. Bring one arm straight across your chest.
  2. Use the other hand to gently pull the arm closer to your body.
  3. Keep your shoulder down, away from your ear.
  4. Feel the stretch in the back of the shoulder and hold.
  5. Release and repeat on the other side.
